 To Thailand We Go

WELCOME  TO TRAVEL WITH HANA - Your Window Into My Thai Getaway!

Hello, fellow travelers and food lovers! I'm so excited to welcome you to another chapter of Travel With Hana, where i take you along on my journey through beautiful destinations, vibrant cultures, and  unforgettable flavors. This time, we packed our bags and headed to the charming southern city of Hatyai, Thailand - a place full of character, color, and culinary delights that deserve a spot on every traveler's bucket list.

Over the course of three days, i explored the bustling streets, scenic spots, and local treasures of Hatyai. Whether it was strolling through lively night markets filled with tantalizing street food, sipping Thai iced tea under the warm sun, or discovering hidden gems tucked away from the usual tourist path, this trip was filled with moments that i can't wait to share with you.

From local street snacks to hearty meals, every bite told a story of tradition, flavor, and the welcoming spirit of Thailand. We didn't just eat - we experienced the culture through its food, met warm and friendly locals, and captured beautiful snapshots of everyday life in this southern gem of a city. I've documented every stop, every dish, and every scenic moment so you can feel like you were right there with me. Let's explore the best of Hatyai's sights and bites together - one story, one picture, and one plate at the time.

Welcome to the journey - this is Travel With Hana

First Stop: Roasted Belly & Nasi Khao Mok - A Must-Try in Hatyai

Our first food stop in Hatyai was a flavor-packed experience. We tried the Nasi Khao Mok - fragrant yellow rice paired with the crispy fried chicken and a spicy dipping sauce that tied it all together beautifully.

Next to it, the roasted belly stole the show with tender meat, served with a bold chili sauce that added the perfect kick. Also we couldn't forget the coconut milkshake and the mango smoothies, it is creamy, smooth blend, and the mango has some puree in it. Smoothies was the best thing to order in a hot day.

Simple, delicious, and full of local flavor - this meal was the perfect way to kick off our 3-day foodie adventure in Hatyai.

Second Stop: Shopping & Street Bites at Central Hatyai

We arrived at Central Hatyai while the sun was still up - but by the time we stepped back out, it was already dark. That's how much there is to explore, eat, and enjoy here!

From local shops to buzzing food stalls, this place had everything. We dove straight into the food section and were blown away by the flavors. The spicy soup was rich and comforting, the raw salmon and shrimp were full of zest, and the fried squid eggs were a fun surprise with their unique texture. And of course, we couldn't skip the classic som tum - spicy, crunchy, and addictively good.

Central Hatyai is more than just a mall - it's an experience. Whether you're shopping, snacking, or just soaking in the vibe, you'll easily lose track of time (and daylight)!

Day 2 in Hatyai: Ayutthaya Flavors & Street Market Feels.

We began our second day in Hatyai with flavorful breakfast at the famous Ayutthaya Boat Noodles - and what a way to start the morning! Even early in the day, the place was buzzing with hungry visitors lining up for a taste of their rich, aromatic noodle soup.

The beef boat noodles were absolutely delicious - tender meat, fresh herbs, and a broth so deep and flavorful it warmed us right up. We also tried their crispy fried squid, which made the perfect side: golden, crunchy, and great for sharing.

This breakfast was more than just filling - it was full of authentic Thai flavors and energy to fuel us for the day ahead. If you're in Hatyai, this spot is a must for satisfying local breakfast experience!

Bonus Stop: 7-Eleven Gems - Red Thai Tea & Butterscotch Bliss

No trip to Thailand is complete without a quick stop at 7-eleven, and trust me - it's not your average convenience store! One of the highlight? The iconic red Thai tea. it's creamy, sweet, and has that distinct strong tea flavor that hits just right, especially on a hot day.

But here's a must-try hack: grab a pouch of butterscotch milk and mix it with the Thai tea. The result? A rick, buttery twist that takes the classic drink to the next level. It's sweet, smooth, and a little indulgent - like Thai milk tea with a dessert upgrade!

If you're exploring Hatyai, don't skip the 7-Eleven drink aisle. Little discoveries like this make the trip even more fun!

Exploring Hatyai: Sight, Flavors & Fun

Our Hatyai adventure was filled with diverse and exciting stops that gave us a true taste of the city. We wandered through the colorful and lively Klonghae Floating Market, tasting local snacks right from the boats and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. A ride on the Hatyai Cable Car gave us stunning panoramic views - the perfect spot to appreciate the beauty of the city from above.

For some hands-on fun, we visited Chang Puak Camp, where we caught a thrilling Crocodile Show and explored a mix of animal encounters and photo spots. When evening came, we indulged in delicious japanese dishes at izakaya & grilled, followed by shopping and snacking at the ever-busy ASEAN Night Bazaar - a paradise for foodies and bargain hunters alike.

Each stop brought its own charm, making our trip to Hatyai a perfect blend of culture, adventure, and unforgettable flavors.

Together in Hatyai: Memories Made with the Best Travel Crew

No trip is complete without the people you share it with - and this Hatyai adventure was made extra special thanks to the amazing in-charged member. From early morning breakfast to late-night food hunts, every moments was filled with laughter, shared cravings, and unforgettable memories.

Whether we were exploring the busy markets, posing in front of our favorite food spots, or just soaking in the sights together, this trip reminded me that it's just not about the destination - it's about who you travel with.

To my awesome travel crew: thanks for the good vibes, the endless food pics, and all the fun. This trip wouldn't have been the same without you all. Here's to more trips (and more snacks) together!
